The Credits aka Points is unique way of OSIR's Amateur Scientists network to not only judge Members, Chapters and Clubs but also reward them for their hard work and dedication for scientific promotion and development.
The OSIR's Amateur Scientists network will award specific Credits for each activity conducted or performed by its members. Sample of different activities are given below, that can help you to earn credits. More detailed activities and number of Credits can be found in your online members account.
- Attending meeting
- Attended meeting as an officer
- Field trip attended with good behavior
- Fundraising event worked
- Being elected a Club Official
- Earning a award at regional science fair
- Bringing in a speaker for Chapter/Club
- Competing in Science Competition
- Judging a Science Fair
- Interviewing a scientist and reporting it to the Chapter
- Doing an experiment in front of Chapter
- Participating in Chapter/Club events/activities
- Publishing something about Science Chapter/Club
- Reading/Viewing a science book/show/movie, and writing and essay and reading it to the Chapter/Club
- Recruiting a Chapter/Club member
These Credits can be redeemed for electronic components and parts like motors, microcontrollers, books, membership renewal etc., the OSIR will pay for it. You can use these Credits not only on our site but also on partner website and companies.
