Join the OSIR’s initiative for scientific exploration of Moon.
The OSIR welcome any scientific community, university, scientific organization or commercial entity (working for nonprofit research) to join its quest for Moon exploration.
The OSIR is competing for Google Lunar X PRIZE and is planning to send Rover to the Moon as early as 2009. However unlike other competitors of the GLXP, the OSIR will send rover with scientific value and scientific payload for better utility of the mission.
To further extend this opportunity to other scientific community the OSIR is ready to accept up to 1500 grams of any scientific payload on Rover and 3000 grams of scientific payload on the Lander as internal or external module, carryable or detachable. These offers stand completely free for non-commercial usage of the data and should be beneficial for further research of space or moon.
We are ready to except any proposal from scientific community for their payload; final approval will be provided based on the scientific merit of the payload in principal and comparison with other as well as compatibility with OSIR’s Rover or Lander.
