Eligibility
The OSIR Team for Google Lunar X PRIZE, is the only team in the race with no country or university specific like others, which is open to all for participation with 100% fully backed sponsors for the project including air tickets, boarding and lodging for the team members. So we are ready to roll, we only need dedicated and enthusiastic people like you to work with us. Remember, your contribution is a valuable asset to us.
Note: To join OSIR team, you should be of minimum in 7th Standard, male or female and of any country. We do not ask any money to join OSIR Team for Google Lunar X PRIZE, if any one representing OSIR asking money then report us immediately.
It is not necessary to visit our R&D facility to all members of the Team of GLXP. IF you do not have time or unable secure our sponsorship, you can still be part of the team from where you are located. Your ideas and advises still be counted as a team member and you can regularly interact with the team. In the end your name and contribution will be still acknowledge by us as a member of the OSIR's Team of GLXP.
People with apparent no experience in this field can also participate if they have strong love for science and willing to learn more. Currently we categories for the participants. The first category is for students from standard VII to XII named as Amateur Students Lunar Scientists for Google Lunar X PRIZE. The second category is for candidates minimum Under Graduation named as Amateur Lunar Scientists for Google Lunar X PRIZE.
Amateur Students Lunar Scientists for Google Lunar X PRIZE
The OSIR currently planned to sponsor boarding and lodging for all participants at our R&D centers. Two-way travel expenses will be sponsored to 3 deserving students, One-way return ticket for 6 students and ready to accommodate upto 12 additional self travel sponsored students.
We are urgently looking for any relevant/practical knowledge in:
- Software programming
- Embedded System designing
- Robotics
- Fuel Cells
- Solar Cells
- Hacking & Cracking
- Communication such as RF
- Electronics

Amateur Lunar Scientists for Google Lunar X PRIZE
The OSIR currently planned to sponsor boarding and lodging for all participants at our R&D centers. Two-way travel expenses will be sponsored to 12 deserving candidates, One-way return ticket for 18 candidates and ready to accommodate upto 24 additional self travel sponsored candidates.
If you failed to receive our sponsorship and also unable to self sponsor your travel to our R&D centers, please don’t get disappointed as you can still participate in our team from your home by your ideas, discussions and drawings online, we will still acknowledge your participation in the event.
Under both the categories there is no bar for age, gender, language, and country.
